Howard V. Tayler (1968-) is an award-winning creator of the hugely successful wevcomic "Schlock Mercenary." Born in Florida, Tayler moved to Utah in 1985 to attend Brigham Young University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition. Where he went on to co-found an independent record label called "Sanctus Records" which was aimed primarily to an LDS market. In 2000 Tayler began publishing his webcomic "Schlock Mercenary."
